Easy Breezy in Blue

Today, I’m bringing you one, featuring one of the most underrated clothing items ever: caftans!

Caftans are seriously the most comfortable piece of clothing. They’re a mix of tropical vacation fit and feel that is still appropriate anywhere: lounging at home, going to a summer party, or running errands. I’m still socially distancing, so these photos were snapped at home but I wouldn’t hesitate to run around in this all summer.

The multiple hues of blues in this Palm Bay Caftan from Catherines are gorgeous. I love the colorblocking at the neckline and down the center and the mixed prints at the sleeves, sides, and hem. It’s a vibrant and happy style, and let’s face it- anything to assist in cheering things up these days is welcome!

As far as fit, the caftan comes in sizes 0-2X and 3X-5X. I’m generally a Catherines 3X, so I’m wearing the 3X-5X. There’s lots of room, and it is lightweight and breezy. Perfect for the 85 degree weather we’re having today. We seem to have skipped spring here in Kentucky.
