Happy Holiday Outfit from Catherines
This week, I’m sharing a slightly dressier, but still comfortable plaid dress with the same poncho. It’s a really versatile piece to take you through the winter!

This dress is a soft knit and really easy to wear with an A-line shape. I decided to add an old red belt at the waist to give it a little more of a festive pop, but it’s not necessary at all!
When we went to shoot these photos, it was really cold. I made a last-minute swap from wearing tights to wearing my favorite leggings this winter, which are also from Catherines. I think I have 3 pairs of them and they are in constant rotation.
This outfit will be in rotation for the rest of the winter since it’s so versatile. A few ideas of how to wear the pieces:
- Casual: Pair the dress with flats and a denim jacket for an on-the-go casual outfit
- Work: Pair the dress with a black blazer, tights, and pumps
- Party: Glitz up the dress with sparkly statement earrings, shimmering pantyhose, and festive shoes.
