ELOQUII Unlimited Review
ELOQUII has long been one of my favorite plus size brands for their on-trend styles, use of color and pattern. Last week, they introduced ELOQUII Unlimited – a subscription rental service for sizes 14-28. For $79/month, you can rent 4 items at a time. When you’re ready for new styles, you ship all 4 back in the pre-paid envelopes. You can exchange items as often as you’d like, as long as all 4 items go back at a time. I’ve been a Gwynnie Bee subscriber for over 8 years, so the concept of rental clothing is something that’s part of my regular wardrobe rotation. People seem to think I own a lot more clothing than I actually do because so much of it is rented and returned.
How ELOQUII Unlimited Works
With ELOQUII Unlimited, you pay $79/month to rent 4 items at a time. To determine which items you receive, you add a minimum number of items (minimum of 10) to your Closet, just as you would add items to a shopping cart. This is not a styling service, so you select the styles and sizes you want. That being said, the actual items received from all the items you closet depends on availability at the time of shipping. You do have the option to Prioritize certain items in your closet if you wish to receive those before others. Priorities are considered, but not guaranteed.

My ELOQUII Unlimited closet – currently 15 items in there.
Once you add the minimum number of items to your Closet, they begin packing your shipment. It will ship in 2-3 days via USPS.
Wear the items, and when you’re ready for more, send them back in the pre-paid envelope mailer included in your shipment.
Before you send the items back, you can use the Return Notify feature on the site which alerts ELOQUII that you’re shipping items back. This means they can begin processing your next shipment before the items make it to the warehouse.
Your next package is processed and shipped out. You can return as frequently as you’d like, as long as you return all 4 items at the same time.
If you are familiar with Gwynnie Bee, you’ll see a lot of similarities with ELOQUII Unlimited. They’re actually run on the same platform, so the navigation and functionality is the same.
The biggest differences in the services:
- There is 1 plan option with ELOQUII, and it’s $79/month for 4 items at a time. GB has several plans from $49-$199/month.
- You receive 4 items at a time, but you must return all 4 items at the same time. With GB, you can return 1 item if you want and hang on to others for longer before returning.
My First ELOQUII Unlimited Shipment
My first shipment arrived Saturday in 2 boxes. I ordered all styles in a size 28, and I’m 5’10. ELOQUII tops are usually too short for my torso, so I stuck to dresses. Pardon the blurry outfit photos .so these are video stills. These are the 4 items I received:

My first ELOQUII Unlimited Shipment

Maxi Dress with Double Slits: This is very pretty and comfortable, and is surprisingly cool even with long sleeves. There’s belt included.

Twist Front Bodice Maxi Dress: This is not currently on the ELOQUII site. It’s the biggest surprise out of this box because I didn’t think I’d like the spaghetti straps or that it might be tight in the hips. I love it so much! This is one of my favorite things about rental: trying out items you usually would be hesitant to purchase. I can wear this a couple times and send it back. Though, even in the fall it would be cute with a denim jacket.

Draped Front Midi Dress: Again, this is another dress I might not purchase, but think it’s fun for rental. It’s a very comfortable lined jersey material and the color is very sassy! It’s on sale for $30 here.

Wrap Maxi Dress in Leopard Print: I own this dress in at least 3 colorways and love it. I don’t need to own a 4th print, but having it to be able to wear a couple of times and send back is a nice option. You can find it on ELOQUII’s site here for a regular price of $129.95.

My first box was a 4/4 for wins! I do think it helps that I own a lot of ELOQUII already and generally know how certain items of theirs will fit on my body. Still, I was very happy with what I received.
ELOQUII Unlimited Impressions
Overall, I was pleased with this first box. It’s great having new items to wear without stressing out about not getting enough wear out of them to justify the cost. I will be interested to see how frequently they add new inventory, and if it will be new, currently on-site items, or if it will be discontinued or final sale items.
Also, the styles right now are more universal and less trend-based. The more “edgy” ELOQUII styles don’t seem to be on the site. This may change – again, it will be a wait-and-see with that. I don’t mind the styles they have on-site now, because they’ll work well for the few meetings I do have that I have to dress up for. These more classic pieces also usually fit my body a little better than some of the super trendy pieces.
ELOQUII Unlimited Tips and Tricks
There are some things you can do to get the most out of your ELOQUII Unlimited subscription:
- Add a lot of items to your Closet – at least 20 items. The minimum is 10, but if you select 10 that are in high demand, your package may be a little slower to ship. More options for them to pull from = faster turnaround.
- Pay attention to alerts for New Arrivals and add them to your closet ASAP. If styles or sizes get too long of a wait list, they will become temporarily unavailable for closeting.
- Use the Priority feature on the site to indicate which items you wish to receive first. I received 2 of 3 priority items, which I was happy about.
- Use the Return Notify feature to tell them your items are being returned before you put them in the mail. This triggers the next shipment to be prepared before the items physically make it back to the warehouse.
- To minimize trips to the post office, utilize free pickup from USPS. You can request it under “Schedule a Pickup” on the USPS site, and your letter carrier will pick it up on the specified day and time.
- If you don’t see reviews of an item on the ELOQUII Unlimited site, you can hop over to the ELOQUII site to see if there are reviews and more user photos there. This helps if you’re unsure about sizing or how it may look on different body types.
