5 Foolproof Ways to Style a Plus Size Floral Dress for Fall
So many of us incorrectly think that we can only wear a plus size floral dress during the Spring and Summer, but as I’m personally working to incorporate more dresses into my Fall wardrobe, today I’m sharing these 5 foolproof ways to make the look work for Fall.
If you’re anything like me, you might love to wear a great plus size floral dress but save them only for the warmest months of the year. This post was inspired by a recent shopping trip to Old Navy where I found this adorable dress and decided I wanted to make it work for my wardrobe throughout the Fall. The best part? The pieces I used to style this dress could be used with nearly any plus size maxi dress for Fall!
This post is all about 5 ways to style a plus size floral dress for Fall!
- Plus Size Floral Dress On a Warm Fall Day

I don’t know about you but where I live Fall weather can mean crisp and cool or it can mean swelteringly hot. On those warm days, you can just toss on your favorite cute shoes (sandals, flats, sneakers, or whatever you like will be just fine)!
- Paired With Cropped Sweater

Fun fact: this white cropped sweater (old from Torrid) is the first cropped sweater I’ve owned. I nearly returned it because I rarely wear anything cropped but I’ve found SO many ways to wear it and can’t imagine my wardrobe without one. Unfortunately, it’s sold out, but I have linked a similar one here. I also love wearing the cropped sweaters with high waisted midi skirts.
- Worn With Cardigan

A cozy, long cardigan is always a wardrobe staple for those colder days and they can be worn with just about anything. If you’re petite, you can also throw on a belt to create a more structured look.
- Worn With White Button Front Tied

I think this sporty, casual look is one of my favorites of the post. It’s truly an all-season look as it would work beautifully in the Spring as well.
- Paired With Blazer

If you’re a boss babe or if you just like to get dressed up, adding a cute blazer and pair of mules is a perfect way to take the casual dress up a notch. I would also love this dress with a beige/nude blazer – I just don’t have one at the moment.
